Numinbah Valley Environmental Education Centre (NVEEC) acknowledges and pays respect to the Kombumerri people, the traditional owners of this djagun (land), which forms part of the wider Yugambeh Language Region. Our programs are designed to encourage all students to engage in reconciliation, respect and recognition of the world's oldest continuous living culture.  We collaborate with First Nations mentors and key stakeholders to ensure programs are culturally appropriate and respectful.

We have an active RAP working group and participate in regular consultation, shared learning and engagement with our staff, First Nations cultural mentors and the wider community. We have a dynamic Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), which is showcased in this short film - ReconciliACTION – First Nations Connections.  It has been approved and published on the Narragunnawali national platform.
